PLAYOFF RACES INTENSIFY AS NFL ENTERS FINAL THREE WEEKS
And now things get really intense!
As the NFL enters Week 15, 13 teams are still alive for a playoff berth in the NFC as the path to Super Bowl XLII in Arizona heats up.
Three teams – Dallas, Green Bay and Seattle – have clinched division championships. The Cowboys (12-1) and Packers (11-2) can each secure a first-round bye this weekend.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-5) can join the group of division winners and lock up the NFC South this Sunday with a win over Atlanta.
Key NFC showdowns with playoff implications will take place in primetime in Week 15.
Two NFC East rivals vying for a spot in the postseason meet at the Meadowlands on Sunday night (NBC, 8:15 PM ET) when the New York Giants (9-4) host the Washington Redskins (6-7). With a victory, the Giants will secure a playoff berth for the third consecutive year.
On Monday night (ESPN, 8:30 PM ET), the Minnesota Vikings (7-6) will look to extend their winning streak to five games when they face the Chicago Bears (5-8).
